Preparations for the Steel Structures 2010 ìCulture and Sustainabilityî themed International Symposium which is to be co-organized by European Convention for Constructional Steelwork-ECCS and Turkish Constructional Steelworks Association that is scheduled for the 20-24 September 2010, and ECCS Steel Bridge Competition awards Ceremony, 11th Constructural Steel Day and ECCS General Meeting is undoubtedly going on. The evening of Monday, 20 September 2010 at the YapıEndustri Merkezi Alessandro Zoppini Exhibition and reception will commence the Symposium and go on with reports presented on Tuesday, the 21th of September 2010 at the Ball Room of The Marmara Otel in Taksim. Come Monday evening Symposium attendees will be cruising along the Bosphorous; on Wednesday, the 22nd of September 2010 again there will be presentations to participate. Then, organized by the European Convention of Constructional Steel-ECCS Steel Bridge Competition Award Ceremony will take place followed by a festive dinner at the Esma Sultan Yalısı On Thursday, the 23rd of September, 2010 The Symposium will end at noon and the Turkish Constructional Steelwork Associationís traditional activity the 11th Constructional Steel Day will start. At the Panorama Saloon in The Marmara Hotel in the evening, together with the guests from ECCS Presidential Dinner will take place. Last day of the activities Friday, the 24th of September 2010, only the member country representatives will attend the ECCS General Assembly meetings. At the end of which, TUCSA Executive Board President Prof. Dr. Nesrin YARDIMCI will leave her office as ECCSís 2009-2010 Period President to the newly elected President.
