One of the main design criteria of the structure is the effort to solve the space for district and village terminal passangers in the same structural shell but in separate foyers. In this respect, transparent foyers jabbing to a “Z”-form exposed concrete were designed. The reason for keeping the foyers transparent is to enhance perception of platforms located right outside the structure. structure designed on a land plot of 10.000 sqm has a construction area of 1.200 sqm. District terminal foyer and platfors were designed on the façade overlooking the old ring road whereas village terminal foyer and platforms were designed in the North. Passages to and from district and village terminal foyers were designed and ticket sales offices of both terminals were designed separately. For both terminals, wet areas and techical spaces were designed in a single location. District terminal passanger foyer includes terminal administration, agency offices, private security office, buffets, prayer rooms, toilets and tecnical spaces.
