23 projects participated in the 14th SteelPRO 2017 Steel Structure Design Student Competition, first of which was held in 2004 by Turkish Construction Steel Association, thanks to efforts of 77 students and 14 advisors. Submitted 23 projects were assessed by the Jury gathered with coordination of Arkitera on 2 June 2017, Friday.
Jury members: Melike ALTINIŞIK, Bünyamin DERMAN, Prof. Dr. Celal Abdi GÜZER, Dr. Selçuk İZ, Serdar KARAHASANOĞLU, Nevzat SAYIN (Chairman), Prof. Dr. Cavidan YORGUN Pursuant to the Jury Report drafted by Özüm ITEZ, jury rapporteur, 3 projects were eliminated due to deficiencies in presentations in the first round and 8 projects were eliminated in the second round as per jury assessment. Belowlisted five projects out of 12 projects qualified for the third round were granted Equivalent Awards as stated in Competition Specification.
