Taking the quality, environment, occupational health and safety policy as its guide, Mim Mühendislik is a brand preferred by many domestic and foreign companies. While Waagner Biro and Mim Mühendislik entered the Azerbaijan market with a joint project, this successful cooperation continued with the new International Terminal of the Baku Airport complex, following the award-winning Baku Tollgate project.
Heydar Aliyev International Airport of which popularity is increasing gradually, has an extension planning to accommodate the expected three million passenger, in addition to the existing prosperous cargo service.
The architectural design of the new terminal is based on a tripod with a clear base geometry. The project was designed by Waagner Biro, and its manufacturing and erection were carried out by Mim Mühendislik. Taking the advantage of the experienced personnel and expert staff of MİM Mühendislik in planning construction
and design methodology, an economical solution was created that preserved the architectural design concept. The scope of the realized project includes not only full envelope facade, roof and passenger bridges, but also structural steel with impressive roof grating and tree pillars.
