Ordinary General Assembly of Turkish Construction Steel Association was held in Istanbul Altunizade Ramada Asia Hotel on 12 February 2016. Prof. Dr. Nesrin Yardımcı, president of Turkish Construction Steel Association since 2001 and president of European Construction Steel Association for two terms (2009-2010 and 2014-2015), summarized the developments
accomplished by the association in the last 15 years. Prof. Yardımcı wished success to her successors following her emotional statements. New Chairman of the Board H. Yener Gür’eş thanked Prof. Yardımcı on behalf of the Board and all members for the disciplined, balanced and harmonious
working environment in her term and bringing the association to its place
from the days when steel structures were not known in our country, and presented a plaque of appreciation to Prof. Yardımcı.
