* Prof. Dr. Nesrin YARDIMCI is elected as Chairwoman of the Board for TUCSA
* Izmir, Ankara, Mersin, Istanbul and Adapazari Structural Steel Seminars are organized.
* 13-15 May in Ankara, seminars, panels and fair activities are organized in a Structural Steel Week.
* By a Cabinet Decision the name of the association became TUCSA
* Steel Structure Reviews were prepared.
* www.tucsa.org website with e-bulletins are established
* Executive commities are formed.
* 15-21 October 2001 second Structural Steel Week is organized. 7th President of the Republic Suleyman Demirel started the Structural Steel Fair activities.
2002
* Meetings are organized foremost with Ministry of Public Works and Settlements and other public sectors.
* The board member number is raised to 7.
* New issues of the review is prepared.
* TUCSAmark program is developed and presented to the members for their opinions in 0stanbul and Ankara.
* 14-18 October 2002 3rd Structural Steel Week is organized with seminars, panels, exhibitions and fair. 0Tİ rector Prof. Dr. Gulsum Saglamer opens the fair.
2003
* Seminars in Bolu, Denizli and Antalya
* Steel Structure Project Student Competition PROCEL
* Student trips are started. Steel Detail Tree designed and constructed at ITU .
* New issues of the review
* Member number rises to 9. TUCSA Financial Enterprise is established.
* 21 October 2003, 4th Structural Steel Day is realized by the ECCS general Secretary attending.
* The first Structural Steel Competence Certificate, TUCSAmark Certificate, was presented to Cimtas.
* Yapi Istanbul Fair is attended at a common stand together with the members of the association.
* May and September 2003, at the end of the earthquake presentations in Brussels and Lucerne, a project to build a new school together with ECCS and Arcelor as its main sponsors in the arthquake zone in Turkey is started.
* Works for a Turkish section of the ECCS s Lexicon project of technical terms in the English, Spanish, French, German, Hungarian, Dutch, Portugese, Finnish, Swedish and Romanian languages, has started.
2004
* Association office in Altunizade opens
* Attending collectively Yapi Istanbul Fair expands
* 30 November 2004, 5th Structural Steel Day is realized.
* TUCSAmark Certificate promotion accelerates.
2005
* ECCS-TUCSA-Arcelor signs the protocol for Tevfik Seno Arda Lyce construction.
* ECCS-TUCSA-Arcelor and Kocaeli Governor signs the protocol and construction begins.
* ECCS-TUCSA-Arcelor invitees inaugurate the colon uprighting.
* YEM coordinated the Steel Structure Student Competition PROSteel with Borusan as the main sponsor.
* Lexicon project is finished and ECCS publishes it in their web site.
* 22 November 2005, 6th Structural Steel Day is realized.
2006
* Attended the Steel Workshop in Isparta.
* A Structural Steel Hall forms at Yapi Istanbul Fair by the collective attendance of our members.
* Antalya seminar is realized.
* PROSteel attracts attention from the students.
* EECS Executive Committee Meeting is held in 0stanbul and the members attend the Tevfik Seno Arda Lyce inauguration.
* Tevfik Seno Arda Lyce starts its educational life and is introduced to the press.
* 29 November 2006, 7th Structural Steel Day is realized.
* Construction Steel Works Technical Specifications is completed.
2007
* Interest in PROSteel is still rising.
* ECCS periodical Architecture TSAL issue, translated also into Turkish, is published and distributed.
* Steel Structures Student Club CELYOK is formed and the first activity is a photographic competition.
* TUCSA becomes a member of Living Steel, WSCC IM
* Structural Steel seminars in Istanbul, Diyarbakir, Urfa, Hatay and Eskisehir are organized.
* 26 November 2007, 8th Structural Steell Day is realized.
* Tevfik Seno Arda Lyce becomes an Anadolu Lisesi
2008
* Professional cadre is reorganized. General Secretary, Technical Director and Executive Assistant cadres are created.
* 9th Structural Steel Day is realized on 27 November 2008.
* July 2008, TUCSA-EU project commences.
* At the September Alesund Annual Meeting Prof. Dr. Nesrin Yardımcı is elected as ECCS vice president for 2008-2009 term and president for the 2009-2010 term.
* TUCSA publication since 2001, Çelik Yapılar reviews are published three monthly.
2009
* TUCSA represents the sector at Yapı Istanbul Fair with its members.
* The association becomes a member of EnvironmIntally Friendly Buildings Association (CEDBIK)
* At the TUCSA annual meeting, establishment of YACEM, Structural Steel Training and Research Center Financial Enterprise is decided.
* ÇELYOK, Steel Structures Student Club organizes the second Steel Structures Student Photographic Competition.
* Welder and assembler courses in EU Project, themed Cultural Sharing in the Structural Steel Sector by TUCSA in association with Romanian Structural Steel Association are organized.
* TUCSA CEO Prof. Dr. Nesrin Yardımcı becomes the ECCS 2009-2010 term president at the 17 September 2009 ceremony in Barcelona.
* Steel Structures: Culture and Sustainability 2010 International Symposium preparations are started.
