10th of the biennially organized steel structure design competition by TUCSA since 1997, NATIONAL STEEL STRUCTURE AWARDS 2016, has commenced. This year, National Steel Structure Awards 2016 jury evaluations will be executed in two basic categories: “Structure Award” and “Project Award”. Project owners and stakeholders of 6 projects to be awarded by the jury under these categories and owners of projects distinguished in special areas such as “Sustainability” will receive their prizes in “Industry Awards Ceremony” in 17th Structural Steel Day to be held on 24 November 2016 in Istanbul Marriott Asia Hotel. Furthermore, one project to be selected by the jury will be nominated for European Steel Design Awards 2017 by European Convention for Constructional Steelwork (ECCS). European Steel Design Awards 2017 will find its owners in Copenhagen / Denmark in September 2017.
