The nights as well as the days during the 2010 Steel Structures Week were quite busy. National and international invitees during the day met at The Marmara Otel attending a heavy program and then in the evenings they were ushered to the magical locations of the İstanbul city.

On Monday evening of the September 20, 2010 at the Chamber of Architecs, İstanbul Branch’s Karaköy venue Alessandro Zopini Exhibition Coctail took place.
On Tuesday evening of September 21, 2010 they embarked on a Pleasure Boat and sailed to the unique Bosphorous, and came close to Ottoman Palaces, and historical waterside mansions drinking to the sparkling bridges that connect Europe and Asia.
On Wednesday evening of September 22, 2010 unforgettable hours were spent in the Esma Hatun Yalısı at a Gala Dinner. Noted as the Mosaic of Cultures, Turkey’s most brilliant corner, İstanbul, East met West in many ways. The highlight of the evening was the traditional Sema Ceremonial Show that reflects the Mevlana Philosophy. ECCS “The Charles Massonet 2010” award was presented to Prof. Carlo Urbano by the Executive Committee President Volkmar Bergmann during this evening.
On Thursday evening, September 23, 2010 at Taksim The Marmara Otel’s top floor where Panorama Restaurant shows off the views of the Golden Horn on one end and on the other the Bosphorous reaching the Blacksea, ECCS Presidents and Directors met for a festive dinner, added another memorable evening to their sojurn in Turkey.
On friday evening of September 24, 2010 when İstanbul 2010 Steel Structures came to close, with the whole week’s fatigue and despite the whether conditions the guests sailed towards the Anatolian side this time and at Moda Deniz Klübü enjoyed a perfect celebratory evening. Along the late hours of the night accompanying the music added to the week’s title “Culture and Sustainability” another slogan: “Everything for Humans”.
