PROSteel 2011’e Yoğun İlgi
Türk Yapısal Çelik Derneği ve Borusan Mannesmann Boru tarafından düzenlenen PROSteel 2011 Çelik Yapı Tasarımı Öğrenci Yarışması’na bu yıl 40 üniversiteden, 531 öğrenci, 166 grup oluşturarak ön kayıt yaptırdı.

ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions’ın yeni açılan Çelik Servis ve İşleme Merkezi Türkiye’nin Osmaniye ilinde faaliyete başladı. 80.000 m2’si kapalı olmak üzere antrepo alanları dahil toplamda 140.000 m2’lik bir alan üzerinde kurulu bu merkez AMDS’nin yüzey alanı olarak en büyük tesisi olup tesiste tüm yapısal çelik sac, levha ve profil işleme ve imalat olanakları sunuyor.

Çelik Yapılar Dergimiz için mimarlarla söyleşiler yapmaya başladığımdan bu yana, yani 10 yıldır, mimarlarımızın tek bir malzeme üzerinden görüşlerini açıklamaktan pek hoşlanmadıklarını iyi biliyorum. Ama Çelik Yapı Sektörünün Türkiye’de gelişmesinin, olması gereken yerlere gelmesinin mimarlarımızın öncülüğüyle gerçekleşeceğine inandığımızdan, onların sektörümüz üzerine görüşlerini çok önemsiyoruz ve düşüncelerini bizlerle paylaşmaları için ısrar ediyoruz. Bu sayımızda da Mimarlık Dünyamızın önemli isimlerinden Durmuş Dilekçi ile söyleşi gerçekleştirdik.

DORALP TEKNOLOJİK MONTAJ MÜHENDİSLİK İNŞAAT SANAYİ
1990 yılında kurulan Doralp Teknolojik Montaj Mühendislik İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd. şti., 2011’e kadar Istanbul Maltepe’deki fabrikasında çelik yapı imalat ve montajında önemli projelere imza attı. Sanayi yapıları, fabrikalar, depolar, spor salonları, alışveriş merkezleri, hastaneler, okullar gibi alanlarda çelik yapı imalatları gerçekleştiren kuruluş, yurtiçinde ve yurtdışında çelik yapı projeleri gerçekleştirdi.

This year 531 students from 40 universites in 166 groups has applied to PROSteel 2011 Steel Construction Design Student Competition, organised by TUCSA and Borusan Mannesmann Boru.

Organised by Yapı-Endüstri Merkezi Yapı Fuarı-Turkeybuild İstanbul, will be between the dates of April 27-May 1 2011 at, Tüyap Fuar ve Kongre Merkezi/ Büyükçekmece. Improving its contribution to the sector each year by expanding the fair this year with thousands of products, 1100 contributing firms and 110 000 visitors will be covering a space of 81 000m2.
VAKKO HQ Steel Construction Project
The structure consists of a steel core and a surrounding reinforced concrete system. The limited space of application and reinforced concrete environment system caused the biggest problem at the start of the project for the steel structures assembly. Furthermore there was the issue of the proposed steel system compared to classic orthogonal buildings, that had connection details yet to be solved.

Why should steel be important for architects? In my point of view, it is a construction material with very flexible limits for one. Steel resonates lightness in quality and quantity. For in architecture one of the most important factors is lightness. There are certain notions looking as an architect, the structural system is better as light as it gets, and the lighter the building, the better it is for us.
