Steel Service Center for Osmaniye by ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions
ArcelorMittal Distribution Solutions’ new center for Steel Service and Processing Plant started working in Osmaniye, Turkey. This plant sits on 140 000 square meters in total entrepot areas included of which 80 000 sq meter is covered and is the largest in area of the AMDS plants where facilities for constructional sheet, plate, profile steel processing and producing are provided. The center which has started working in 2011 besides steel plates, sheets and profiles being stocked and sold, Roll Opening/derolling?? machine has also started its service. In the coming months the installation of constructional steel plate, sheet and profile processing machines will start.

“We have always worked towards the growth of the constructional steel sector in Turkey. In this regard we have started the building of our Osmaniye Çelik Servis ve İşleme Merkezi (Steel Servicing and Processing Center) in 2010 to expand the service network for the Anatolian regions that are rapidly developing. Osmaniye is rather significant with its convenient setting which is close to İskenderun port and proximity to the Middle East. We are anticipating this new Center’s contribution to Turkey’s steel processing capacity. The target is to surpass one million tons of steel in transaction” about the new plant in Osmaniye

* Undersecretariat of Treasury and Foreign Trade appropriated funds to support national designers in international projects which is said to be around 50 million TLs and believed to be contributing to the steel sector also.
